Can was a video created for visual arts class in university. Although I don't remember the details of the assignment now as it was several years ago. The video had to be made up of still images, making it seem animated was not part of the assignment. The sound also had to be mixed, we could not use anybodies straight music unless we created it.
The video was influenced by the Ikea "Unboring" ad campaign in which an inanimate object, in this case a lamp, evokes an emotional response in the viewer.
While there are some things in terms of sound editing that I would have liked to done better, however on the whole, I'm quite happy with how the video turned out.
Orriginally created as two seperate GIF animations, I have decided to put them togeather into one and add sound to make the video more interesting.
It was created useing a burst feature on a digital camera resting on a dashboard and then playing all the images in squence to create the animation.
The trip in question was to and from my former work. It's interesting how different something can look based on the light sources, be it one (the sun) or be it many, such as traffic lights and cars.
