I've updated again! I'm getting better at this. In this update we have 3 new miniatures in the... well, the miniatures section. All three are from the Privateer Press game "Warmachine". I'm really enjoying painting the warmachine models, they are a bit simpler in terms of detailing, which makes them a lot faster to paint.
In addition I'm reorganizing my art sections into digital and traditional mediums. I don't have a button on the main page designed yet for the digital mediums gallery but a direct link is available here:

I've tweaked the miniatures gallery a bunch. You can now get a larger view of the image by clicking on the text left of the picture that says "Click here for even larger image" I also organized the pictures into more of a chronilogical order based on when they were done. The most recent works appearing first, the oldest works appearing last. The new site is much flashier, that's for sure.
The next update is to the Photography section. I've changed the gallery format of it as well to something a bit more free. I really like it, unfortunatly due to the size of the panoramic pictures, they have to be done seperatly or they will overlap the other images in the gallery, and get cut off at the sides when blown up. Temporarily they are going to appear in a seperate window from the rest of the images, but ideally I'm going to use a javascript to have them appear within the existing window.
In addition, the Whistler panoramic picture is new. I think Lake Louise is prettier, but panoramic shots of the mountains are always beatiful. The Whistler shot was taken in April 2009 from the top of Whistler Mountain in British Columbia while I was there on a ski trip.

First update in a while. I'm in the process of upgrading/updating the picture galleries to something a lot nicer looking and a bit fancier.
I've decided to start first with the Miniatures section. With each overhaul is going to come some more pictures as well, there are many new pictures added to the miniatures section for example.

Finally uploaded the May 1st update. I actually did most of the changes on May 1st, but didn't upload them to the webserver until today. I've also added a couple new sections. New is the "WIP" section which shows steps towards the completion of some projects.
Art wise I have added a new Digital Painting that experiments with forum, value, colour, shape and style. Titled "Initial Ideas" because it is my first finished work in the 3d wild graffiti style of artist Daim and it's my initials. AH-W. Also in the WIP section are several steps towards the completion of "Initial Ideas". It has been a great learning process and a stepping stone for me to produce greater digital paintings.
Also added is a digitial photo of my ski school co-workers for this season. I post it hesitantly because it has pictures of a lot of people and I don't have permission to post it, but it is a group shot and nobody is labeled. If anybody has an objection to it being posted, please let me know. Also, if you would like a higher resolution copy of it, please contact me, my E-mail address is in the links section. The three orriginal images used to make the final image can be viewed in the WIP section.

It's been a while since I updated this site. The winter kept me busy with lots of skiing. I'm not sure how many days exactly I skied this year, but I'm estimating from the 3rd week of Novemeber to the 3rd week of April I skied between 100 and 120 days. Now that my life is a bit calmer, I'm working on my art again and updating the site.
I recently applied to a few schools for Graphic Design starting in September so I have to work on things to build up a good portfolio of works as part of the application process. With that in mind, I'll be working a lot on my art now and therefore updating the site a lot more. Expect more digital paintings, photographs and miniatures in the near future.
Updates are going to include more than just added art material. I'm going to eventually change the layout completely and move the buttons to the top.
Added in this update are shots of a hammerhead gunship I recently repainted. I need to finish up the missiles in the front but the rest of it is finished, and I had the photos available.

Happy Halloween! Okay. I realize I'm a day late but I was busy taking pictures and uploading them to add a bit more content to the site, but I didn't manage to get them uploaded. That and Guitar Hero: World Tour was a bit distracting.
For updates I have a few things. I've rearranged the layout of and added more content to the Miniature Painting, Sculpture, and Links pages.
In terms of content, I've added the pumpkin I carved to the sculpture section. I used a gargoyle picture for a reference, but I think it turned out a bit more like a demonic imp. It was made using wood carving knives and chisels. I'm happy with how it turned out but it's nothing like this guys work. He was my inspiration to try this though.
The other addition is a Reaper Helljack from Privateer Press' game "Warmachine" in the Miniature Painting section. I started it a long time ago, but a contest in their monthly magazine inspired me to finish it. The contest was to make something look corroded. Considering this model isn't made of iron/steel, nor was it left out in the rain, I think the corrosion effect turned out very well.

I've created a new title page for the site. What I'm going to attempt to do over time is create more title pages and create something of a library, when you open the page, one of the images will randomly show up. We'll see how that works out but I need more images before I try it out.

A few new pictures have been added to the "Photography" section. One of horses, one of fall leaves, and a black and white photo of tree shadows on the snow.

I've added a new picture to the "Miniature Painting" section. It's a squad of Inquisitorial Storm Troopers that I've finally finished.
I've also made grammatical revisions to earlier news and the "about me" section with the recommendations of my friend Fiona.
Expect some new photos in the photography section tomorrow

Happy ThanksGiving!
The thanksgiving long weekend has given me the time I needed to get this site up to an operational level that I'm happy with. Almost all the links are working now. The only one I have to do still is the Links button which will also include contact information for myself (about me has my E-mail as well).
There are only two things I’d like to change/update. I'd like to add a button showing images of whatever I'm currently working on, regardless of the subject matter. As well, I’d like to make a new title page; but, it's going to take a bit of work. The style of the title page will be similar to the border on the rest of the site but, it would be more complete and would work as a stand-alone piece of art.
When I originally started the site it was all done in the beige style of the opening page; however, I have since updated it after giving Adobe Illustrator a try and actually getting webspace to host the site. It was just an idea prior to October 5th.
If you have any comments or suggestions on what to change, add or improve on the site please, feel free to contact me and let me know.
Until then, enjoy!

SITE IS LIVE! and very much still a work in progress.
This is something of my first web site so bear with me and feel free to make comments on how to improve it.
The purpose of this web site is to showcase my work and turn my hobbies into a hobby/business. Through this site you can/will be able to look at my past works, my current works, and commission me for future works in any of the disciplines I work with. This may be Drawing/Design, Photography, Digital Video, Sculpting, or Painting.
This site will serve as a portfolio of my works for both personal reference, and external interest.
Through all media's, I am self taught. I have learned them as a hobby, not through school, or as a profession, so I still have lots to learn.
